It's the decade with the most movies I think... This one is sooooo hard I really can't pick! Well, I know it's not the Rescuers, they never really meant much to me... But all the others are so amazing in their own individual way! Oh well, let's decide... For being the most epic, engaging, intense, different, mature... I pick THOND. I never get tired of watching it. The story is beautiful, the characters are great (esp. Frollo), the animation is awesome, the score is AMAZING... So I vote for this one lol Still, the others are all amazing. I didn't vote for BATB because I sorta feel it could have been better. There were certain times when the animation was a bit slobby and unorganized... like the animators weren't working on the same character. Aladdin, to me, is more entertaining than engaging really... TLK is of course, one of the best ever, but it's kind of worn me out. Pocahontas is like BABT most of the time, though I love the color palette and of course the music. Mulan is lovely, just not amazing. Now Tarzan, I have to say, is right behing THOND... amazing movie, FABULOUS character design and animation, excellent attention to detail. But one thing I really didn't like about it was that Canvas thing, that CGI effect for the jungle. Looked completely different from the 2D animation so it kinda ruined it for me... OMG I'm gonna shut up now xD

This is such a difficiult decison! These are, I think, some of Disney's best films! For me, it'd be between - BATB, TLK, THOND, and Hercules. Although, I do love Pocahontas as well. Oh bother, this is an awfully hard choice to make...
The Hunchback really gets to me. Mostly because I can relate, having a brother who's disabled and has some physical anomalies like Quasi. Esmeralda, again, is another great Disney heroine. Independent, and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
But I think I'll have to go with Beauty and the Beast though. I mean, I am a compltely hopeless romantic, and this movie just really gets to me. I cry EVERY time Belle and the Beast are on the balcony at the end. :'[
Plus Belle is probably my all time favorite Disney princess or heroine or whatever you want to call her. She's definitely got a mind of her own, she's not that "AH! I'm stuck in a tower, I need a strong man to come save me" kind of gal.
She wants to get out and see things, discover stuff for herself. I think she's a fantasic role model for girls, I mean she is for me. And she also teaches that outer beauty can't compete with what's inside. Which is a great lesson.

Pocahontas is my fav. I think it's the most meaningful Disney movie and the music is amazing. Tarzan and Mulan are great too.

Mulan.
For some reason, none of the others interested me enough to see them.
But, after playing Kingdom Hearts, I am curious to see Aladdin and Tarzan. Unfortunately, no rental stores nearby have them and I'm not certain if I want to buy them.
One day, I might watch Pocahontas.
Out of curiosity, I saw Brother Bear on tv and liked that one.

I don't like any of those, except for Fantasia 2000. But I always thought Fantasia 2000 was made in 2000. Am I saying Fantasia 2000 too much?

Fantasia 2000 actually came out in 1999. It was an updated version of the original Fantasia released in 1940. I guess they called it Fantasia 2000 because it was sort of... not a welcoming or introduction... agh I can't think of the right word, but anyway, for now I'll just say welcoming to the new millenium.

God I thought everyone and their unborn children had seen these movies, they're like the movies of our generation!! Disney Rennaiscance and what not, people!! I don't think I've even met anyone who hasn't seen all of these movies lol Oh well, guess there's a first time for everything PrincessAriel16, like emily said, Fantasia 2000 came out in 1999, december 17th, so it was nearly the year 2000. I think the reason they did that is because they don't premiere movies in January, so the Summer or Winter of 2000 would kinda be too late, since it would almost be 2001... Is that confusing? xP Anyway, it's my least favourite out of the group :/

I love pretty much all of them but I'm going to have to go with TLK. It's probably had the most influence on me in terms of my art. Plus I'm a huge animal lover.

This was such a great decade for Disney in my opinion and I grew up watching alot of these. The Lion King had the biggest emotional affect on me. I first watched it when I was 5 and the scene where Mufassa dies made me cry and Simba was a relatable character to me. Pocahontas had alot of heart and meaning aswell as beautiful music and imagery.
But in the end I voted for Beauty and the Beast. I admire Belle for having a mind of her own and breaking the barrier of what a women of her time was expected to be like. She's not one of those princesses who waits for her prince to sweep her off her feet. She goes out to get what she wants. She's different and that's what I love about her. The soundtrack is great too.

Ok if I think about this too much I'll never choose, but I'm going to go with Beauty and the Beast because for me it is the most memorable of films during that time period at least for me. I probably connected the most to that film over any of the others. I do really love Pocahontas also, but it didn't stick with me as much as BATB, probably because the first time I saw it since it came out was 2 months ago.

I love Nightmare before Christmas.
And Corpse Bride.
Maybe I'm confused, but they never seemed like "Disney" movies to me.......

Nightmare Before Christmas doesn't seem Disney, but it's definitely one of my favorites. Corpse Bride wasn't Disney though, it looks the same as Nightmare because Tim Burton worked on both of them. :]

Aladdin is my 2nd favorite Disney movie EVER!!! I know the movie word for word, he** I know BATB word for word too.
I seriously don't get how people could not have seen these movies. They have been dubbed into every language on the planet and then some.

I said Hunchback Of Notre Dame because I think it is so incredible and beautiful, but I love Pocahontas and Tarzan equally as much - Pocahontas is so moving, and from the first moment (literally) Tarzan makes me cry. And Hercules, Mulan, and Aladdin are amazing too
