Wow, judging from that list the 90s was the decade of great movies for Disney!!! I'm going to have to go with The Rescuers Down Under; amazing animation, adorable characters... It was the film I always loved, both as a child and adult. I did not enjoy Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Pocahontas until I was older.

This one is a toughie. O__o I had to vote for The Lion King. There's something particularly emotional about it that sets it apart for me - maybe it's that the cast is all animal. But I like the possible symbolism the movie has, what with Simba looking for redemption, e.t.c. The Hunchback of Notre Dame has always been interesting too (that one I do think was darker than some other Disney movies, and Disney did wonders with it, IMO.)

Unlike the 80's, which other than TLM, I can't think of any other good movie, the 90's has a lot. It's a very tough choice, but I think I'll have to go with The Lion King, another masterpiece.

Picking a favorite from the titles of the Disney renaissance is so hard. I've always loved "The Lion King", but "Beauty and the Beast" comes very close as well. "Tarzan" is really underrated, also. You don't see as many "Tarzan" fans as there are, say, "Aladdin" fans. I like Al, too, but Tarzan needs more love.

it was a hard decision but i chose Pocahontas. i have the 10th anniversary edition which i think is better than the original release of the movie b/c i love the song 'If I Never Knew You' and its just great, now its just weird watching it without that scene. I LOVE IT!!!!

Hercules! In my opinion, this was one of the last great Disney movies. It's funny, and I think that the romance in the movie is the most realistic. It has great songs( I Won't Say and Go the Distance are my favs ), it's hilarious, and the story is inspiring and such a great story. I love the Michael Bolton version of Go the Distance during the end credits. I just love this movie. I also love and adore Beauty and the Beast. It's amazing..the score..the story..the transformation! It's truly a beautiful movie. I've seen Dances With Wolves, and I believe that BATB deserved Best Picture of 1991.

Yeah, Hercules was very underrated, however, I don't think you'll see an animated movie win 'Best Picture.' They don't consider them to be in that kind of a category, hence why award shows made a 'Best animated picture' category.

No, they don't, but I didn't like Dances With Wolves. IMO Beauty and the Beast was better.

"The Hunchback of Notre Dame"
There's a whole heap of depth in that film.
