There's a new Disney Channel movie called Princess Protection Program,it's about a normal girl named Carter Mason (Salena Gomez) that her father, who runs an organization that helps princesses out, bring home a princess called Rosalinda (Demi Lovato from Camp Rock) who needs to pretened to be a normal girl and Carter need to help her fit it. Anyway I noticed she looks a lot like Belle: Is it a reference or actually a rip-off?.

I'd say it was a (very) loose reference from looking at the photo. Hmm I'm not to sure what to think about this ....

The desgin of her dress is like Belle's ballgown and she looks like Belle. I just noticed that the cover of the book says it's a hit,how can this film be a hit if it wasn't released yet? .

They might have plans to make it a hit like they did with Camp Rock. You mean their Channel's films? then if you think this one is silly you should see Dadnapped, this one sounds nice actually.

It won't be the first time something like that happened (Saying something's a hit despite the fact that it hadn't even been released yet, I mean.). In a little comic series known as "The Boondocks" for instance (don't ask why I read it, All I know was that it was there.), Grandpa Freedman wanted some more excitement in his life so he wanted to see a movie with one of his grandkids. He decided to watch the movie "Brokeback Mountain" only because he thought it was an "old western" due to it involving Cowboys, he remained ignorant of what it actually was until he and a neighbor saw it, and he was horrified at what he saw [even going as far as to stand up and shout at one of the characters on the silver screen to get off of him.]. Well, basically, this cartoon was introduced sometime before Brokeback Mountain even aired in theaters (It also apparantly got golden globe awards despite not having been released in theaters yet.)

I think it's just a reference, or maybe just a coincedence. It's not like Belle is the first character in the world to wear a yellow dress lol..
Yeah, I see that it's a 'hit' before it is even out. Disney slipping up yet again. They really need new people running the ship.

But the desgin of her dress is similar, they also both have brown hair. I also think it's cute,Rena Bam Bena x3 . About the "hit" thing, too bad thought that they don't market their films like Enchanted and Bolt like how they market their channel's films and make sure that they"re hits,Princess And The Frog is going to have huge marketing like Pixar films but still,I feel bad about Enchanted and Bolt (Espically Enchanted,I"m surprised if anyone beside Disney and animation fans ever heard about this movie). Thanks . They might have plans to make it a hit like they did with Camp Rock. You mean their Channel's films? then if you think this one is silly you should see Dadnapped, this one sounds nice actually. Some movies get popular before just after they got announced. In Disney's case they make sure some movies will be hits (Like Camp Rock),or how they marketed the Fairies so much before they knew that the franchise and the films will be popular.

The front part of it is a little different from Belles, and the color of the hair doesn't mean much, seeing as how there have been many princesses that have had brown hair. If she had Belles' hairstyle, then I could probably agree.

I don't really think she looks like Belle, but I can get the whole dress reference thing. It seems like another attempt to get Demi Lovato famous I'll probably watch it though.

Demi Lovato is famous amongst my niece's age group. She loves Demi to bits and pieces, so I know I'll be seeing the film.
