This is my first post!
Here is my version of Part of your World. (I'm wuhnderland on youtube, btw) This is dedicated to Traci Hines, who, in case you didn't know, is this absolutely amazing girl who is virtually a Disney princesses.
Hopefully this is in the right spot; it is poetry/lyrics. Although I switched some words around I tried to keep as many original lyrics and rhymes as possible. Think of it as Melody's version of Ariel's song.

Look at this stuff, isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has everything?
Look at this trove, treasures untold
How many wonders can one bedroom hold?
Looking around here you'd think
Sure, she's got everything
I've got seashells and seaweed a-plenty
I've got coral and driftwood galore
You want some starfishes?
I've got twenty
But who cares? No big deal. I want more
I wanna be where the merfolk are
I wanna see, wanna see 'em splashin'
swimming around with those - Whaddya call 'em?
Oh, fins
Flippin' your feet, you don't get too far
Fins are required for splishin', splashin'
Floating along down a - What's that word again?
Stream
Down where they swim, Down where they slide
Down where they play all day in the tide
Wanderin' free, wish I could be
Part of that world
What would I give if I could live out in those waters?
What would I pay to spend a day cool in the sea?
Betcha down there they truly care
Bet they aren't unfair with their daughters
Bright merwomen, lovin' swimmin'
I want my share
And ready to know what the merfolk know
Ask 'em my questions and get some answers
Why you ask? 'Cause I wanna -- you know the word! Learn
When's it my turn?
Wouldn't I love,
Love to explore your world I dream of
Under the sea
Wish I could be
Part of that world
