Who is the shadowy figure in the episode that acts as the antagonist in the episode? You know, this lady: mylittlemermaid.com/seriespics/season1/red/redpics/red143.jpgBy "who is she", I just need her name, as I'm going to need it for a project I'm working on (I'm thinking of developing a fan trailer that has scenes and visuals from the TLM lexicon [and possibly animated fanart for certain scenes], and the audio from the Matrix Revolutions Trailer after seeing trailers of that nature on Youtube.). I'm thinking of using her for the Deus Ex Machina character.

She's an evil sorceress trapped in that cave by Triton himself...which is all that is known as she was never given a backstory.

We never see her again, so I assume she was a once off created for this episode.
But a line of dialogue from Triton (when he resumes his adult form) makes me think she's been doing this for a long time:
"Better luck next century sorceress".
I guess the evil sorceress has always been trying to get free of her prison and Triton has been foiling her for a long time in the past.

In King Triton's own words: (after he was turned back to an adult from "Red" hence the title) "Now I remember, as a child of course I didn't know who she was: an evil sorceress whom I condemned to this cave (the cave the sorceress was in during the episode) long after my childhood!" So I assume she was someone who tormented King Triton's(Red's) childhood, who know? May she was the one who changed King Triton's hair from red to the ugly brown we saw in Little Mermaid 3... javascript:add("%20: ") She scares me though, something about her changing her hair to eels (or were they wolves) and skeletonlike hands just looks.. disturbing. I also wonder how powerful she was, after all for begin imprisoned she did managed to acquire a crystal that reverses aging and almost acquired the trident if King Triton remained a kid the whole time (and if Glowfish actually bought Red to the Lady right after the King got turned).

I was going under the assumption that the cave we see the Sorceress imprisoned in is her version of Ursula's cave.
She has all these magic items and stuff in there, but can't actually use them on anyone, because she's a prisoner in the cave.
Unless someone specifically approaches her, she's alone all the time.
It would be a suitable punishment, to be locked inside a cave with all the power that may free you, but being totally unable to use it to get out.
