I just got Netflix on my computer and to my extremely happiness I discovered that The Little Mermaid Tv-Series is there and it's in HD  It's great to see my favorite Disney Princess in HD. I posted some Screencaps from the episode Stormy @ the Walt Disney Characters Spot. See for yourself here: www.fanpop.com/clubs/walt-disney-characters/photosNow, the question remains... Given Disney's love HATE relationship with the film hard to tell
A dream extras bit for the series release would be the unused songs (they are on Splash hits) with possible storyboards and the origins of Gabriella and the Jim Henson Pilots
(That WAS on you tube at some point) someone has posted a snippet
Also the pic you have here is from Message in a bottle
Basically if the Live Action Universal film does what Twilight does /did Then Disney will consider their under rated mermaid

A real score would be 1992's promo pic for the series Ariel jumping out of a TV set with water everywhere this was a small standee that all the Toy Licenses for the movie had
(pictures were a very touchy subject back then)
So far only two episodes
Also a chance these are on youtube with the Disney Jr Youtube channel

I LOVEEEEE that they are now available to watch in HD! I've been waiting for this for ages! Now if only there was a way to save them on my computer permanently lol

And which version from "the evil manta" plays on netflix? On netflix I can't find the series either. ;( Hopefully the show will be released on netflix worldwide. |

That's just it Unless you taped it on VHS back in the nineties that 's how you can see the difference
The sequence is when Ariel meets Flounder there is some differences very minute
AND there is even more
The Splash hit's albumn had songs NOT in the TV series I personally think "In My Blue Backyard" was gonna be the title theme aong
Listen to it and judge for your self
As to the comparrison it will be some time for I taped the show almost rigoursly in the nineties (DID NOT GET FIRST BROADCAST OF METAL FISH)And simply have to find the tapes which if you saw the movie Citizen Kane and see Mr. Kane's collection it's that vast
