I will let one, and only one person preview it before the entire story is released.
There are some rules if you are that person. Read carefully.
Rule 1: You may share your impressions with the story, but absolutely no details about the story itself. I can't stress this enough, I want the whole thing to be a surprise when everybody else reads it.
Rule 2: When talking to me via private message/instant message/email, I want you to be as open and candid as you wish. This is my first fanfic, input is always appreciated, whether good or bad.
Rule 3: There will be no distribution, retransmission, copying, "spilling the beans", or any other tomfoolery going on. If it's you, the story stays with you, and only you. No grandmothers, no sisters, no brothers, no aunts, no cousins, no neices, no nephews, no friends, no mothers, no fathers, nobody in your extended family tree, nobody in your immediate family tree, no talking to pets about it, .... I think you get the picture. If I tell you, you tell no one else.
Rule 3. I may email/PM you with future chapters as the whole thing gets closer to completion. Those future chapters, as well as any correspondence is bound by the same rules as above.
It's currently 8 pages, and has a very sad start to it, and I know it will have a very sad ending. The story is a little on the darker side, and as far as I can see right now, there will not be a happy ending.
I know I sound psycotic, but, it's all in the name of surprise. As soon as you read the first paragraph, as soon as you see the title of the story, you're going to know what goes on pretty much. Therefore, it gets ruined for you. I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone else.
So, knowing all that, and agreeing to abide by all the listed above rules from here on out until the absolutely final version is released (you will be notified of this), do I have any volunteers?
