WOAH! Where in the world did you find that picture??
I think it's fairly obvious the approach Burton is going to take with Alice in Wonderland. While I do love it as the sort of fluffy and cute Disney version, I think Tim Burton will do an awesome job giving it that dark twist he does so well. And you can never go wrong with Johnny, the man is just an absolute genius when it comes to acting!

I'm not sure how I feel about the color scheme, but otherwise it looks interesting. I'm withholding judgement until official photos come out.
I'm actually more annoyed they cast an eighteen year-old to play Alice. In the original story she was seven. I wouldn't want someone that young but IMHO a girl between 12-15 would have been a better choice.

You know, this... Tim Burton Adaptation, it's starting to remind me of that computer game that was an Alice in Wonderland adaptation (Though, unlike the published story, it was rated M for Mature.)

American McGee's Alice, right?
I actually kind of wish Tim Burton had signed on to do that to begin with. He would totally be in his element.

I would have to agree. Ive played American McGee's Alice and I would think Burton would do a great job, however it will be interesting to see how this adaption will come out like. Still not too keen on the look of the Mad Hatter but it may grow on me. The film is sure to be fantastic

See, I like the design of the costume but I don't really like the Earthy colors. The Mad Hatter's such a vibrant character, and the browns make him look kinda lifeless.

yeah i see what you mean. It is the colours. I always picture the hatter being green but this is different and it propably will grow on me eventually.

It definitely oozes Tim Burton's style. I imagine many of the characters will be dressed in funky outfits like this, and I wonder if the whole film will be this color scheme. Like when he did Sweeney Todd, the whole film was kind of color-drained to give off a sort of black and white film feel. Guess we'll have to wait and see till either more pictures are released or a trailer. I am extremely excited for this movie though. Johnny + Burton = AWESOME!
