I didn't really care to much for all the newer Disney movies...especially seeing what they are becoming. I'm more of an older classic disney girl. The stuff that Walt came up with...the stuff that isn't like...new age. lol
Mickey Mouse, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid (of course) I like Emporers New Groove and Enchanted but I don't like pretty much any of the new disney. To me, it's become all about whose popular and what not.
I just don't care to much for it. I like the classic disney best.
And for the record, can someone please tell me that The Little Mermaid was one of Disney's best movie when it first came out in the beautiful year I was born-1989!! My fiance doesn't believe me and I need to show him this proof.

Well I'll confirm it for you The Little Mermaid was brought out in 1989 the year that it changed my life for good at the tender age of three lol and in my opinion the best movie Disney has ever made it's my favorite movie of all time!! So I hope your fiance believes you now lol!! Take care!! <3 Christine aka Ariel

I definitely prefer the classic Disney, and I'm sure most people do, since it's what has made Disney... Disney! All of my favorite Disney movies are ones made in the 80s/90s (Little Mermaid for example.) I do enjoy a lot of the newer stuff they've come out with though. Mostly the Pixar movies, like Cars and the Incredibles. I have to admit Disney's been going through a bit of a rough patch lately coming up with that magic they used to have.
I've never been a fan of sequels, so I'm not too crazy about movies like TLMII, Hunchback II, the new Cinderellas, Lady and the Tramp II... etc. But some sequels are good too, just like how some of the "new age" movies are. I enjoyed the Aladdin sequels, Toy Story II and the Rescuers Down Under. I mean, I hate being so negative about the Disney movies that come out, because I always remember the wonderful stuff they've made in the past.
Disney is still Disney, no matter what. Even though I didn't necessarily enjoy Brother Bear for example, while watching it, it still had that Disney feel to it, which is nice. Things have changed, you know? Not the same people are working with Disney that worked there when Walt was alive for example, so it's good to look at the movies from a different perspective and sort of welcome them in their own individual forms. Instead of comparing them to the classics.
But I definitely know where you're coming from, I feel the same way a lot of the time. Definitely miss the old Disney classics that we all know and love. :]

I'm not a big fan with all the newer movies they've been coming out with except for the Pixar ones & Enchanted. I'm a fan of newer stuff on Disney Channel though (Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, etc), but I totally know what you're talking about. I'd pick the classics over the newer stuff any day. I think we love classic Disney not only because the movies are of great quality, but also because we all have memories tied to it

I'm with you, Rena Bam Bena x3.
I miss old classics like the Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast! The only new disney movies I love are Enchanted and the Pixar movies. THe other new disney movies are too kiddy and too happy-wappy. I don't know what everybody is so "ga-ga" over the disney channel shows like High School Musical or Camp Rock or Wizard Waverlys! All the kids on the disney channel shows are mean, dumb, sarcastic, and disrespectful to thier parents. They're not as cool or smart as Ariel, Eric, or Belle, or ALaddin! The Wizard Waverlys is not as cool as Harry Potter! For Hannah Montana, I like the actress, but I don't like the show! I don't like the Suite Life of Zack and Cody or Cory in the House or any other disney channel show. I certainly don't like high school musical stuff because zac efron can't sing or act and they're all too preppy and happy. the new disney live-action movies sound boring and not fun either because they're all like the theatrical disney channel movies. THe only good new disney live action movie I love are Remember the Titans. For the Chronicles of Narnia, I only love the first one. The second one was good too, but it was becoming too kiddy and caspian, susan, and the mouse were really annoying. Because I'm a Christian, I'm too scared to tell everybody that I didn't enjoy Narnia 2, because nobody will understand me! Not my fault that the sequel was too kiddy and the caspian and the mouse were annoying!
Hopefully, the frog and the princess will be sucesssful. I don't know what will happen if it did not turn out well because one time I wanted to see Chicken Little but everybody told me that it's not a good movie because it was too kiddy and not fun.
