In my opinion, Wall-E is Pixar's best work by far--I was surprised there wasn't a thread about it!
I had to write a school newspaper article on the DVD a month or so back--it was as good as the film. Even the box was worthy of praise! Yeesh, if Disney gets back to work of this quality, my life will be complete.

I agree, Wall-E was very, very good. The animation was really good, and IMO, the story was unique. I saw it when I was on vacation last summer, and I thought it was only going to be decent, boy was I surprised.

I personally didn't like Wall-E that much, I mean it was OK but I personally prefered Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. We have the DVD in our household so I will probably watch it again sometime. Speaking of future releases I am looking forward to "The Bear and the Bow"!

Why didn't you like it? I'm just curious, since a lot of people didn't care for the whole "no dialogue until the middle of the movie" thing. I think it's the only complaint I've heard about it.

I forgot how cute Wall-E is! I saw it in theaters when it came out, but that was over the summer. We rented it a few days ago, and I watched it with my little brother. It's so adorable! It's definitely different for Disney, since it's a deeper issue and there isn't much dialog. But how can you not fall in love with Wall-E and Eve? Too cute!
I can see why people wouldn't like it though, since Disney movies normally do consist of singing and talking. It also felt a little long after a while. Like, one thing I hate about movies is how one second you think the issue or one of the issues is resolved, and it's not. When Wall-E and Eve are up in space trying to escape and save everybody, it seems like everything keeps going wrong. One second they're home free, the next, not so much. haha! Still, I thought it was really cute and funny. :]

A Disney movie doesn't have to have singing and dancing in order to be successful, and great. Even if you take all of the singing and dancing out of the TLM, it's still an awesome movie.
Basically, the thing that makes me like Disney movies are the characters and the story, not the singing.
The reason I like Wall-E is because it is so different. There isn't much dialogue, which I didn't mind at points, however, that's what makes it great. I keep bringing TLM up because it's the same example. What made TLM so great was that it was very different, and unique when it came out. I feel the same thing for Wall-E.
Plus, the animation was top-notch, and that is pretty much a Disney-staple.

WALL-E is a good and adorable movie,it's my favorite Pixar movie after Finding Nemo. WALL-E is cute enough that there's no need for dialogue. Can't wait for Bear And The Bow,and I think that this,Finding Nemo and Ratatouille are the best Pixar films.

Finding Nemo was also a very good movie, great animation, and the dialogue was very good comedic value, however, Rattitouie was not good at all.

I knew I spelled it wrong lol..
First off, it doesn't mean much, but I think the title is kind of dumb. I understand why it is, what it is, but I feel it doesn't come off good.
Speaking of that, that's how the story felt with me. I just couldn't get into it at all, and didn't think it was that funny. All the Pixar movies I've seen have been funny, and I didn't find really anything funny about it at all.
The animation was top notch though, but that's expected.

I love Wall-E!! Best movie ever!! I love the romance between Wall-E and EVE!! So cute!! I love how they call each other's names-so sweet! I'm glad that Pixar made a reference to Hello Dolly. My high school did a school play of Hello Dolly, thus it brought me back memories. (I was in the chorus in the play).

WALL-E is in the top3 of my Pixar movies. 1. The Incredibles. 2. WALL-E. 3. Cars. I love that movie! It was interesting to watch, a robot designed to do trash compacting work unintentionally saving the human race from their fate as couch potatoes. And all he was doing was trying to get the girl! Watch closely when EVE flies off with WALL-E and MO, the WALL-A units wave goodbye. Also, if you've seen the bonus short, watch BURN-E very closely during the movie. They must have made that short during production instead of afterward to integrate it like that.

I'm sorry, but I didn't like WALL-E at all. ::shrugs:: I'm not really a fan of Pixar animation, but IMO this was the worst. First of all, the no-dialogue thing got me. I mean..all you hear is BEEP BEEP BEEP and a few humans( who resemble babies ) talking at random points in the movie. I didn't really like the story. I mean--love story between robots? Meh, I'd rather see a love story between two people. I mean, I couldn't get past the fact they weren't living beings--they're robots! Once I did get past that fact, I couldn't see any emotion at all--mainly because they don't talk, so there's really no one portraying them. I couldn't feel emotion while watching this movie--to me it was just so boring. Wasn't my cup of tea at all. I thought it was cheesy and another one of Disney's money-making attempts. Sorry if I offended anyone. I loved Ratatouille though.
