- It's not about anything The Little Mermaid, but it does include a mermaid. It's a fun short show and it has some good one-liners in it. I liked it and I sure other Disney fans will too  - ( edit: I changed the title so it's more descriptive.) |

it does have to do with The Little Mermaid! When the octopus is styling Jasmines hair he gives her an Ariel hairstyle. The mermaid even says " She looks like every other princess under the sea". I Wonder who she can be referring to hmmmmm.......?

Apparently Saleen was based upon old concept art of Ursula. I suppose it was a lionfish, like Saleen, before an octopus/squid, like Ursula. Interestingly, in the "Elemental, My Dear Jasmine", Saleen acts like boyfriend-stealing Vanessa. Kinda ironic, if Aladdin is a fish eater then Saleen is a man eater.  |

here's another episode with Saleen. (I think that's all) It's more Aladdin-focused but still entertaining with a mermaid/nautical theme.

In the episode " Shark Treatment". Ariel does make a cameo but her top is orange. she is on the back of the magazine when genie is reading it
