I thought with all this downtime away from the Parks it would be interesting to pose this question: When was your last Disney vacation? And what are some things you remember from it/any favorite rides and experiences?
And if you've never been to any of the Disney parks (or even if you have), do you anticipate going anytime soon/when things reopen/when things are safer in the world?
I'm very curious! Personally, I wouldn't want to go until I've been vaccinated and flying on airplanes for un-essential travel becomes less of a risk. I want to play it safe as much as possible. But I do know some people who have gone to Disney World several times during the pandemic already.
I haven't been to Disney World since 2008, I've visited 3 out of the 4 parks (for whatever reason I have yet to go to MGM/Hollywood Studios!). I was hoping to go back in 2020 and was about to start looking into booking a trip in March of last year, then everything fell to the wayside, obviously. I visited Disneyland for the first and only time so far in 2019, where I got to meet Ariel for the first time (which was super magical!). In total I've been to WDW twice and Disneyland just once (and have yet to go to any of the international Disney Parks) but I feel like I can say with certainty that Disneyland is my favorite I've visited. I don't know why exactly, I think the history buff in me extra enjoys the experience of Walt's original park. I also like it being smaller in size and enjoy the layout of the park better than in Magic Kingdom in Orlando. I also love seeing the characters roam about more frequently in Disneyland than they do at the other Disney Parks. My favorite Disney ride however is in Disney World, Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom (this is also Jodi Benson's favorite Disney ride! we love the thrills!).
Let me know and I can expand a little more on my Disney Parks experiences, I've only visited a small handful of times but have a ton of memories from those visits! I'd love to hear about all of your experiences!
