Hi everyone! I made a couple of signature banners for this lovely forum (images found on DisneyClips.com)! Y’all are free to use them if y’all want to! And I’m happy to make them for anyone here! LittleArielForum Siggy 1LittleArielForum Siggy 2though for some reason, the images won’t show up when I try to use them here. I don’t know if it’s because I had to post them to my deviantart account first. No matter what image I try to use, the image won’t show up. I feel so dumb.

Thank you so much! I’d love to use one of them as my signature image, but the image doesn’t appear when I add the image. :( can anyone please help me with this?

I think the problem is that it's not possible to get a direct link to the image? The closest I could get to that is this, but it doesn't end in a .jpg or .png file extension. Because of that you can't link the image to your signature, I guess? I don't remember how I edited mine a few years ago, so I can't test it. Maybe, if you upload the files to an image hosting service service such as imgur, like I did, it should work?

Ooh okay. I’ve never used Imgur before so I’m not sure how it works.

Just go to imgur.com and click on "new post". Upload your images and wait for them to finish uploading. It'll notify you once they're ready and also the "grab link" button will light up. Then you can right click on either image and select "copy image address" (or something along the lines, it depends on the browser you're using). Then you can use the link on your signature. You could also bookmark the imgur page, because there is a delete button there, which you can use in case you ever want to remove the images from the service. By the way, before you do this, have you checked if you can get a direct link from Deviant Art? You are the uploader, so maybe it'll let you do that?

Signatures are usually rectangular and not very tall, refer to Mike The Best's signature image above for a basic height guideline. Those look more like wallpapers.
Getting a direct link from DeviantArt is not as simple as with other hosting services. Right-click on the image, then copy image address. Don't have a mental shutdown when you view what is pasted, it's quite long and doesn't look comprehensible.
Go to your profile on this forum and select Edit Profile. Select the Personal Tab and go to the last box, Signature. Paste the image URL in this box and wrap it with the [ i m g ] [ / i m g ] tags (remove the spaces) Then press the button marked Save Personal Settings.
Please remember, keep your signature banners realtively short in height, nobody wants to scroll past half a page just to read the next response in the topic.
