If you can't do certain spots, I always go back to a past level that has semi high level Heartless and just fight a BUTTLOAD of them until I level up a lot. That really helped me continue on. Thank you very much! When Donald leveled up to a certain point, I was able to use his comet attack to beat the 10-second time limit. Unfortunately, I didn't get past the battle at the end with the guy and his clones (Xenmas, is it?). While one of them continually pushes Riku back, the other kills Sora. Why are the enemies allowed to "cheat", but you can't? But I almost got to the end, so I'm happy. Now I don't feel guilty about failing to reach the end of the first one. If this is what the final battle is like and I can't win in the easy one, I shouldn't try for the hard one.

That's what i did! (although I used all the summons, but Tink is the best, she heals Sora and the others). I thought she was doing something like that, but couldn't watch to see what she was doing. I always thought when Tink appeared, the other two disappeared. I always found the bigger enemies were easier to defeat. There are places you can go to be "safe" from them. The ones I used most were underneath them and up on their back. These are less effective with Maleficient dragon, but they still work. By the time I've reached this point, I have no health left. I've found it's impossible to dodge Herc and throw the barrels too. How's the sequel? have you been in Atlantica or Port Royal?. I completed the first and the sequel together (I was stuck near the end (in or AnsemRiku or the last battle) when II came out and before I got the final battle in II i decided to finish the first one first and when I did I finished II. Yes, I've been to both those places. But I'm not a fan of Pirate of the Carribeans, so that place was meaningless to me. Atlantica was a big disappointment. I like the concept, but the implementation was flawed. I never managed to hit the "sweet spot" in time or often enough. After ruining three songs, I decided to leave and not come back. And it looks like I'm not going to be able to finish KH2 either. I've gotten to the battle with Demyx and keep losing. I managed to defeat the required number of water shapes in a timed challenge by using reaction a lot. But after fighting him for a long time, a 10 second timer appears. I beat 9 water shapes and was fighting the tenth when the timer expired. After getting to this point and failing again, I gave up. Here's a comic someone on another forum shared with me: i28.tinypic.com/b4azjq.jpgAnd it seems accurate! Having experienced this "plateau" problem a lot recently (although it seems to occur more in PS2 games and PC games designed around console portability), I'm wondering who the companies hire to test the games. I've been playing computer games for over ten years and I can't succeed. What foolish person playtester says "This is too easy, make it harder". :( I agree about Atlantica being disappointed,it really sucked. Did you tried to glide (that you're like flying, you get it after you finish Neverland) in the Hercules battle?. And the final battles in the first one are much easier.

I knew how to glide.
But it doesn't seem to help.
I can dodge nearly everything Ansem (or whoever he is, since playing KH2, I know he's NOT Ansem!) throws at me. But if I don't fight him, I'm not going to get anywhere.
It's when I stop to fight or heal that I get defeated.
It's really weird, I've defeated all these huge enemies and I always get kicked across the room by human-sized guys, in both games.

There's 3 upcoming Kingdom Hearts games (But let's talk about 2 of them): Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep-It's a prequel for the first game and it's about 10 before Sora got the Keyblade, and finally we can see the worlds of Snow White,Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty,we"ll see new and usual worlds, for exmaple we"ll see young Hercules (Like in the series). And there's also Kingdom Hearts 358\3 Days about Roxas and the Orginaztion collectiong hearts from other worlds. In Birth By Sleep I think that we might see younger Triton (Like in Ariel's Beginning),since the first game was before the film (Like the series) and we"ll find out how Tirton knows about the Keyblade and other worlds,we can also see Ursula join Maleficent (Maybe Maleficent will be on the beach? I don't think that she can underwater). In 358\3 Days we"ll see the usual worlds (Agrabah,Atlantica,Halloween Town,Wondeland and etc.),they can go underwater?.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely up for more Kingdom of Hearts! I play it until I reach the limiting point, then stop. Unfortunately, the variety of Disney "worlds" mean I rarely get to visit the ones that mean the most to me. In this game, they're Atlantica, Ancient China and Halloween Town. I'd like to build my own team of KH fighters however and not be stuck with whoever I was using for generic combat (Donald and Goofy). My ideal team would be: Sora. Ariel. With a Sebastian special attack. Mulan. With the Mushu special attacks.

Ariel is my favorite partner in Kingdom hearts. And just so you know Ariel's spinning attack is called the "Spiral Wave"
I also heard that in KH3 they have replaced Atlantica with Finding nemos world!!!
If this is true then I will not even touch that game.

Atlantica might show up in 358/2 Days but the only ones I know that are in that one are Agrabah and Wonderland. Birthy by Sleep will have mainly the Princesses of Hearts' worlds but since Ariel isn't a PoH it probably won't be in that one.

It's Kingdom Hearts, not Of Hearts. And the Mulan world is Land Of Dragons, the original name was going to be Ancient China but since it's not really China they changed it. Nobody said there's going to be Kingdom Hearts III and I don't think they"ll be any Pixar worlds in the series. We only know that 358/2 Days will have Olympus Colisum (Again,it was good in Kingdom Hearts II but it was boring in the original game). Birth By Sleep will finally shows us the Sleeping Beauty,Cinderella and Snow White, will it shows Alice's home world insted of Wonderland?.

It follows his adventures in the Organization. It's for Nintendo DS. I really want to get it for mine, but I really really hope it has Atlantica!!

Don't believe that website, they obviously don't know about Birth By Sleep, and why whould make Pixar worlds? that's silly, and the Tron and Steamboat Willie worlds were added to Kingodm Hearts II much after Disney bought Pixar (And Pixar is still a different company),acordding to them Disney could have made a Pixar world insted. So don't believe it.

I would like to get kingdom hearts: chain of memories because I know that one has Atlantica. But I'm not sure if she actually fights with in that game like she did in the first one.

That game has a card system that you use to battle with. There is an Ariel card in the Atlantica level that you can use and she'll come out and do an attack. Basically Sora's fighting by himself except for the characters randomly popping up for a few seconds via the cards.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories really isn't as great as the "real" games on PS2. That's why I'd rather have the DS version, because he( the creator) said that it will be like the original KH.

If this is true then I will not even touch that game. Oh, I hope not! But yeah, I have to take the lumps with the oatmeal. Seeing as only Atlantica (TLM), Halloween Town (Nightmare before Christmas) and Ancient China (Mulan) interest me, it's doubtful I will find much else to interest me. But the Sora/Final Fantasy themed worlds are nice, before any of that Disney nonsense kicks in.

I love how Ariel says "There" Right before she does the spiral wave. Her voice is just so so...Arielish!

I also remember Ariel saying "Spin" once before charging.
She may say other things, but that is the only one I can recall off the top of my head.
