I saw this yesterday! I've wanted to see it for years so I'm really happy it's on YouTube! It's so much better than the boring documentary on the DVD.

This is better then the boring Treasures Untold from the Platinum Edition, because the one of the PE was about Disney overall,it didn't really was about The Little Mermaid, the only good part of it was how they show how Jodi recoreded Part Of Your World, this one is more intersting (thought i think this is really a special when the film was released).

This one is DEFINATLEY better than "Treasures Untold". I fell asleep during that thing, lol. But the part with Jodi singing woke me up because it was the best part.

OMG I've always wanted to see this. Thank you for telling us about it! And Treasures Untold isn't that bad, I liked it. But they should've had this on the DVD.

It's so weird seeing how everyone's aged so much! Jodi Benson looks nothing like her 46-year old self! lol And I thought Ruben Aquino was supervising animator for Ursula, who was that girl? Thanks for sharing, tnadav1, I always love watching this kind of stuff ^^

I'm going to attempt to try and make this make some sense.....
I haven't seen that probably since it came out, so it really made me feel like a little kid again and how I used to watch TLM. I dunno it "feels" different now watching than it did when I was younger. That makes no sense and makes me sound like a nut bag. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm older now, know more things but it's a different feeling when I watch it now. Can't explain it, other than I'd rather watch the original VHS even if it's color is weird and stuff something about it seems so nostalgic...Yeah like this video haha it was nice to go back to those more innocent/simple days!

That's funny that you mentioned the colours and the old VHS. I thought the exact same thing when I watched it! I guess it brings back memories from when we first saw the movie.

Can't explain it, other than I'd rather watch the original VHS even if it's color is weird and stuff something about it seems so nostalgic... I know what you mean! When I saw TLM on DVD for the first time I was so excited about it being restored and all that... but it just wasn't the same! There's something about the image being a bit grainy and the sound being a bit off sometimes that makes the whole thing more magical! xD I also think that DVD, having a much better image than the VHS, makes the whole movie look different. I can now notice some details that I hadn't seen before on tape... and I'm not sure I like it lol But yeah, seeing old TLM stuff as you get older does feel different...

Well,i was small when i first saw the film but i think the restoration is beautiful and good (the restoration is one of the best things in the PEs),it's not a film that you see it and you keep thinking about how old this film is,Disney films are timeless, really, even Snow White dosn't feel old at all .

OMG thank you so much for posting this, it was amazing. I really can't believe this was never included on the PE. I understand what you mean Jazzy about watching it now, it seems different somehow to when when it when your younger
