If Vanessa was her own character...

If Vanessa was her own character, and NOT Ursula, what personality would she have, and would she be a good person, or a villain?

I'd say she would still be a villain, and would, in fact, be FAR more evil than Ursula could ever dream of being. And her Personality would be a sadistic, psychopathic, mass murdering Demon.

Basically, her personality, to make a comparison, would be similar to Mephiles the Dark from Sonic Next Gen.

for those of you who haven't played Sonic Next Gen, Mephiles the Dark is the main villain of Shadow's story, and the main villain of the game overall. He is a demon who is the conscious mind of Soleanna's sun god, Solaris, and he has a striking resemblance to Shadow the Hedgehog due to his absorbing Shadow's... err... shadow. He seeks to try and make Elise cry out of despair so she can release Iblis, and thus fuse with him to reform Solaris and consume time itself.

Basically, I think that, should Vanessa be an entirely separate character, her personality would match Mephiles' personality (maybe with a trace of Imperfect Cell, Dimentio, Frieza, and Broly added in to the bunch, but for the most part Mephiles' personality.).

I don't exactly understand why Vanessa would be a psychotic if she were her own character. She probably wouldn't be a nice person, but still.

As it is, I'm entirely satisfied with Vanessa as she is aside from the briefness of her role.

you know, even when she was nothing more than a disguise for Ursula, she did have some psychopathic elements. For example, this scene right here:





I mean, even you have to admit those are the actions of a sociopath/psychopath.

Anyways, in regards to why I felt as though she would be a sadistic, demonic psychopath/sociopath, it's kinda because I saw many similarities between her and Mephiles (As well as her and Dark Samus in the "Metroid Prime" games).

As it is, I'm entirely satisfied with Vanessa as she is aside from the briefness of her role.
