I always thought that Dudley was the King's friend, not an employee.
Because he's so old, he's really slow.

Yeah, they're friends but it's kinda like with Sebastian. They work for Triton, but have a friendly relationship.

I give up. I'm never going to be able to pick a fav character! I watched Message in a Bottle a couple of days ago and I realised I've overlooked Simon the sea monster for years!  He is definitely on my list of fav characters now. I love how he never tries to hide his feelings - if something upsets him even slightly, he is immediately in floods of tears! I guess that would annoy a lot of people, but I think it's very endearing. Out of all the characters in the series, I'd say he's probably the funniest.  Currently my fav characters are Spot, Dudley, Simon, Da Shrimp, Pearl, the Crab Scouts, Gabriella and Lucky.  |

After Ariel, I'd say Urchin, and The Bad Luck Creature. Gabriella & Ollie and Pearl are also good charries.

The idea of the magical gypsy fish reminded me of the Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland. Anyways, so much fund and so much mischief.
Another favourite Hans Christian Andersen
The one who started it all. He almost needs no explaination.
Cool character = Pearl
She's just so much fun and I love her background music when she's in "Eel-etric City" (It's In Harmony but very upbeat). She'd be great a party even though she's probably get someone in trouble.

Just a thought, how did Disney deal with the fact of Spot's diet?
Orcas exist on a diet of mostly fish.
So what was he eating all that time Ariel was hiding him?
Maybe we're not supposed to ask that question........
