What are some of the storylines and moments in the TV series that you enjoyed most?
One of the main reasons I've always enjoyed the TV series is because it shows us many new and interesting sides to the characters that we don't see in the movie. So I'm going to start us off with one of my fav examples, Ariel and the sea calliope!
I love the whole concept of Calliope Dreams. I think it's a really clever and funny idea to have Ariel be terrible at playing a musical instrument, when she sings so beautifully and many people associate her with music. I remember watching the episode years ago with my sister and both of us cracking up because we didn't see it coming! It still makes me laugh now.
I would have always assumed Ariel had some kind of natural talent for music that enabled her to play any instrument, but her calamitous calliope playing is much more fun. Ariel's foibles are what made her such an endearing and relatable character after all. I know I definitely relate to her in this case - I have a reasonable sense of musicality and singing has always come pretty naturally to me, but when it comes to instruments I'm completely useless. 
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the sea calliope or any other highlights and memories of the series you'd like to share.
