The Little Mermaid TV series was never given a finale! Post your ideas for the perfect ending!
As we noticed, during the end of the series, Ariel's obsession for human stuff became what it was in the movie. I would have liked to have seen the last episode end how the movie began. Ariel going to ship yard and speaking one of my favorite lines of the movie, "Isn't it fantastic?" Or maybe just collecting ones of the objects we see in her grotto during the movie.
I'd like to hear everyone's ideas!

It would be great for Ariel and her sisters and Triton to have a moment where they really connect as a sort of salute to the series as it focused on their life as a family a lot. Some moments of her with Urchin, he'd have to leave for some reason tho I wouldn't want him to 'find' his family as I really liked how they considered him part of theirs. Some scenes with Ariel swimming thru Atlantica would be good, see all the happy little fish and mer people and what not. Maybe a song like In Harmony meets Under The Sea. She could have a final moment in her grotto over looking her vast collection before Flounder comes in telling her about the shipyard and she eagerly swims off with him trying to tail behind. The end moment could be her swimming up to the edge of a valley where the ships are and getting that same look on her face as the beginning of the movie before giggleing and swimming away with Flounder huffing and puffing behind.
Altho another movie is really unlikely, It would be great for Disney to do a sort of Fantasia style movie with 10-15 minute animations from their really big hits. It would take a lot of money tho as they would have to show a lot of different scenes for each movie in such short amounts of time. They probably wouldn't think it would be worth the investment. I believe we'll see Ariel animated again in a way that will have the hearts of all TLM fans swelling with joy.

Something similar to Prince Mike's idea, as well as Macgregor's idea. Also tie up some loose ends like Flotsam and Jetsam (By that, I mean how they became the most dependable henchmen/eels that Ursula has, since her treatment of them was different compared to the movie.). Maybe expand on the origin of the Nautilus and that flaming arm spell used to steal Ariel's Voice (I mean, of all the spells that Ursula used in the Series, I don't think I remember Ursula using that spell [of course, then again, I only saw about two episodes tops.].), maybe explain why she's purple instead of blue (like the ancient Octopid Army) or Green (like her sister). Have Ariel and her sisters grow completely close to each other (I heard that they were a bit nasty to her in the TV series.)
BTW, that reminds me, when Ursula disguised herself as the Fairy Crab-mother, did she disguise herself completely (you know, like her Vanessa disguise she assumed, where the only physical hint at her true identity was her nautilus) or did she merely change clothes/wigs and apply a thin layer of makeup (Like how Jessie, James, and Meowth disguised themselves in Pokemon)

A back story to Flotsam and Jetsam could be cool Wehn Ursula turns into the fairy carb mother she's a total crab, it's pretty fun. Here's part 2 of the episode where she comes in www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWCxMjLNkbkyeesh, Flotsam and Jetsam look a lot creepier in here than they did in the movie.
