PHOTOS: Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid Reopens at the Magic Kingdom
Welcome back to the Magic Kingdom! We are delighted to be back and exploring the park once more, all the while taking into account all the new health and safety measures that have been implemented amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Our next stop is my personal favorite attraction in the Magic Kingdom: Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid.
It’s good to be welcomed back by this dreamy Ariel statue. Have you spotted Ariel in the new Kingdom of Dreams Princess Cavalcade through the Magic Kingdom yet?
Entering the queue area, we can see that new floor makers have been put in place, advising guests of where to stand to keep their distance safely.
The markers snake around the rockwork, which already kind of functions as a barrier itself.
Inside the show building, Scuttle is there to greet us. The interactive queue element of this attraction was also functioning… so watch out for those mischievous crabs!
Other than the floor makers, no other changes were noticeable throughout the remainder of the ride experience. Perhaps because COVID-19 doesn’t exist under the sea?
