I started to wonder if anyone had created a realistic Scepter of Light scaled for an adult to use. I know there is a kid size version, but that's more of a toy then a realistic prop and it's probably too small for an adult portraying the role of Elena to use.

I have seen a few, but getting a good quality one is not readily available so people I know to portray Elena either do it themselves or commission a friend to make one for them, either completely from scratch or by modding an existing one (I remember seeing kid's versions sold at Target and at the Disney Store. also there was one at Party City but it's not very good quality) This is the scepter Elena uses as a prop at the Disney Parks Here's one version by a princess party company And here's another version by another princess party company This one from Spirit Halloween was recommenced as being good in length, but it's PVC plastic so not as legit looking/feeling as the Disney Parks scepter. www.spirithalloween.com/product/princess-elena-sceptor-elena-of-avalor/135765.utsI'll bet this would be a fun project to work on if a cosplayer had a 3D printer/access to a makerspace with a 3D printer!

I've been learning 3D printing, so in theory, I could build the model of Elena's scepter. Printing it however, that's when it becomes unfeasible. This is the cost of a 6cm toy sword when printed in the material you would need to use for Elena's scepter: Now imagine something much larger in 1:1 life scale. Also, you'd need a specific kind of 3D printer, one that could print metal instead of plastic. Although you'd also need a plastic printer for the gems. And it would have to be a high-grade printer with a large print area, to accomodate a meter long object.
