Haha I know, I thought this might be a tough one. I haven't even submitted a vote yet. I'm still torn. If it makes sense I like the movie Cinderella more, but I'm not sure which princess I like better. I really like them both!

I like the movie Cinderella better, but I love the art of Sleeping Beauty, which is what's really pushing me on the Aurora side. Yeah, this is a hard choice!

The art style of Sleeping Beauty is really wonderful, but because of the whole "being asleep for half the movie" thing doesn't really give us much insight into her personality. While Aurora is very pretty, and I love the story... I much prefer Cinderella. Cinderella gives you more insight into her personality and her life. And the story is much more inspirational too.

Cinderella! She has a brain and a personality, unlike Aurora who just warbles, prances around, cries and falls asleep. Maybe Merryweather was supposed to give her the gift of wisdom before she was interrupted. I like Sleeping Beauty as a movie, but Aurora is a really lame character in my opinion. I agree with Mike that the story of Cinderella is more meaningful. Congrats on 1000 posts by the way!

JAurora has personality, they just don't show (no character in Sleeping Beauty has personality,it's a problem with film),but they do show her romantic longing to see more of her simple life, and the curse wasn't her fault. (Well,i personally think Kida and Esmeralda are the stupidest Disney characters ever).

Cinderella. As much as I love the Sleeping Beauty film and Aurora herself, Cinderella feels more real to me. I think her personality is much more interesting, relatable and fun to watch.

Why did Malificent have to come and ruin everything?

I like the movie of Cinderella better, but I love Aurora. She has more personality. What? HOW?! Aurora sings about love, says her aunts treat her like a child which hints at wanting independence, but then goes on about dreams. She does disobey the fairies to dance with a stranger and hopes to get them to accept him, but gives up when she finds out she has to be a princess. Sure, crying's okay when you find out your parents are alive and you've been lied to all these years... Cinderella pokes a bird for waking her up, then sings sweetly to the animals, then yells at the palace clock for ordering her around, saves a mouse from a trap, tell Bruno everyone needs to get along, tries to think of something nice to say about Lucifer...but can't, tries to argue with her stepmother about chores, threatens to use a broom on Lucifer, raises her eyebrows at her stepsister's "music lesson", pushes her stepfamily to let her attend the ball, cries after her family reveals they'll never let her be happy, falls in love but says, "Oh well, it's over", then tries all she can to get the slipper on her when she finds out the Prince wants to marry her! Need I say anything further...? Cinderella's way better than Aurora. Aurora's just prettier and maybe has a better singing voice but they sing in different styles so it's hard to figure out.

I like Aurora better. I don't like judging by looks, but I think that she's prettier( gift of beauty ) and her voice is more beautiful--stunningly beautiful( gift of song ). And, I think she has a better prince. Phillip rescues her from eternal sleep. I also think it's cute when she sings to the animals.

Gah! I can't make a decision! To be perfectly honest, I'm too fond of either of these princesses. haha! I mean, neither of them really went after their dreams like the other princesses. Ariel actually went to the sea witch in order to try and be with Eric, Jasmine ran away from home to try and find something more, Pocahontas risked everything in order to be with the man she loved while also bringing peace between the two fighting groups, Belle is an independent woman who is able to think for herself and was willing to sacrifice everything to save her father... anyway, I'm getting way off topic.
My point is, neither of these princesses did anything to get what they wanted. All of the mice and birds made that pink dress for Cinderella, so she didn't even try to go to the ball. Then when that didn't work out, her fairy god mother had to come and save the day. Then she's locked up in her room and can't get out to tell the Duke she's the one who danced with the prince. In the end, she gets the prince and lives happily ever after, but would not have been able to do it without the little mice.
Aurora spends her days picking berries and singing with the little woodland creatures while strolling barefoot through the forest. A handsome man happens upon her and they fall madly in love. Unfortunately she is easily tricked and pricks her finger on a spinning wheel and is asleep until Princey comes and kisses her back to life. And they live happily ever after.
Hm... well, seeing as Aurora was pretty much asleep the whole time and Cindy did try and get her prince, I suppose I'd have to say I prefer Cinderella. She doesn't come off as much of a damsel in distress as Aurora does. Plus there's that whole sort of success story with Cinderella. Since she goes from spending her days cleaning and obeying her step mother's/sister's every whim to getting to move into the castle with the man of her dreams.
And I don't wanna come off at all like I hate these movies, because I honestly adore them both. It's just that these happen to be two of my least favorite princesses along with Snow White. But I still adore their stories and enjoy watching them over and over again.
Phew. Sorry for such a lengthy post about just a simple question. I tend to go off like that. hehe! ;P

I say Aurora because the movie Sleeping Beauty is based off of the ballet Sleeping Beauty that my ballet company is doing this year. Cinderella is good too, but I prefer Aurora.
