Miley Cyrus is a spoiled ungrateful child. She has questionable photos sprawled out throughout the internet. She is basically like a child version of Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton. Well, they've started filming the new Hannah Montana movie, and said Miley will choose either to be Hannah forever or Miley. I think she'll choose to be Miley and (finally) end her career. I hope you realize that the whole Miley/Hannah thing is her acting. She isn't really going to choose Hannah or Miley. Thats just the idea for the movie and what they are paying her to do.

Althought I think your ideas about Ariel and Belle are great Jazzy I don't think the lines makes them out of their characters, also about what you said-In Enchanted Tales Aurora and Jasmine teach about responsibilty, perseverance and more, also each Princess got special promotions-Ariel promotes keeping the oceans for her film's Platinum Edition and Ariel's Beginning,Aurora promots forest fires prevention for her film's Platinum Edition and Cinderella promots road safety for her film's Platinum Edition. That maybe true, but that is only a tiny fraction of anything. That has nothing to do with their personality just their location Aurora...forest.....Ariel sea. It is a small attempt but it is not enough and telling a people to protect the earth isn't the only good thing people can do. I'm not suggesting they teach kids to do the right thing that is beside the point. I think each Princess has their own individual personality that a child can identify with. I am saying they should market Princesses by their personalities and their interests so it would encourage children to explore themselves, try new things, develop skills, and etc. I am basically suggesting is make the Princesses role models not just like Barbie where you look pretty and you get whatever you want.

I would say.....please wake me up with this TLM nightmare is over. No way never. Enough of the TLM remakes...additions...sequels...musicals.....rubbish nonsense crap. It is all awful. They are ruining everything, they wouldn't do this anyways I am sure. The age of TLM is over. Let it rest in the glory it still has left. I don't want anymore Ariel stories that are terrible. I don't want anymore oh it would be cool to have this. No it wouldn't it would suck, we'd be disappointed and annoyed at how bad Disney does this and that. Let it go people...let it go....
-rant over-
The ONLY thing I am and would look forward to is the TLM dark ride they are putting in at DL and MAY put in at WDW.

The characters in the movies don't even act like Princesses (except for Aurora, which is weird considering she doesn't want to be one). They are fun, adventurous, hard working, strong and intelligent. They teach kids that being a good person is more important than looking beautiful on the outside. I have never thought about this until now, but you are exactly right. It is interesting all of you bringing up how the Princess line is pretty much a pre cursor to the stuff women see in magazines and Hollywood. It's all basically teaching us that all women have to do is sit and look pretty. I like you all talking about how the Disney Princess line neglects to include the individuality of the characters. You all have some great ideas. I think Disney should focus more on each characters personality and use that as a selling point. From the website stand point they could definitely do that. For example Ariel is a collector and an explorer. On Ariel's page they could put different hings Ariel collects and give people ideas and how to start their own collection. They could also have little scavenger hunts since Ariel likes to explore. Maybe each day they could list a thing you should go out and see maybe go look for a pond or field and find something there to add to your collection. For Belle they could have a book list and a part where you can color a picture about what your book was about and it could put on Belle's page etc. These are just rough ideas.... I think this would be a good idea it encourages children or us adults (hehe) to explore our interests and personalities. It gives people a sense of purpose and having their favorite characters inspire them it couldn't be better.

I'm very skeptical about the authenticity of this item. If you are a serious collector you may want to know this.. A few months ago I was at this collectable store in Orlando and the man who works there knows the company that makes these figurines. When I was in the store all the Bradford Editions of Disney Princess items never had Ariel in any of them. I asked the store owner and he said it was because the company doesn't consider Ariel a Disney Princess! I know, messed up, right? Anywho this collection was released years ago and only had Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, and Snow White. I did some research online and whenever I looked up this collection I only saw those 4 princesses. When I looked up Ariel in the collection I never got any results except on Ebay. On the Bradford Editions website there is also no mention of this. I think someone is trying to rip people off on ebay with their fake certification of "authenticity" . Ok, I'm done with investigative reporting .

I found this @ Downtown Disney the other day and was so excited that Jim Shore finally did an Ariel piece! I really like this I think it is very pretty and it is nice piece for my collection. I got it for $35, but I'm sure you can find it on Ebay.

Come on folks this is the EASIEST question ever. The answer is Disney magic of course. Thats the reason for everything you don't understand in a Disney movie. I don't really see the reason to dwell so much into tiny details in a Disney film. It's supposed to be fun, adventurous, and lighthearted. Maybe, I'm missing something but I don't really understand what the big hullabaloo is about.

That made me wonder too--Tinkerbelle is overly jealous and downright mean in Peter Pan and she seemed like a sweetie in the commercials for the movie. Wonder if they will make another movie to connect the 2 personalities of Tink? lol I kinda want to see it, even though I never really liked her Looks cute with all the fairies and such There is already a preview on the Tinkerbell movie for a sequel "Tinkerbell and The Lost Treasure". I don't know I'm usually really critical of Disney doing things like this, but since they aren't doing with Ariel I guess I don't mind it as much. Tinkerbell was kind of one of those characters that you could develop. I do have a feeling it may become kind of like the Barbie Fairytopia movies where they make 500 of them, that maybe the point trying to compete with that. I hope it doesn't become like the "Land Before Time" where you have "Land Before Time 939" lol. I prefer Disney Princesses and Fairies over Pixar stuff though, at least they are keeping the "magic" alive.

Ok...you all will be shocked to her me say this especially knowing how critical I am, but this movie was really quite good. I really enjoyed it and thought it was very sweet. I think this will be a good franchise for Disney. The only thing I don't get is how Tinkerbell is so sweet in this movie and shes so grouchy in Peter Pan. The ending of this was pretty cute too . I liked it .
