I love this forum for what it is and not for what it could be or used to be. It is a place for fans of the TLM. It's really awesome and inspiring to see so many fans. The last thing members need is to feel posting is a chore or to 'burn-out'. People should want to come here and enjoy. There are many views so this forum is still very much alive (in an albeit passive way.) Y'know, I really couldn't have said it better myself Thanks, Alan!!

The snowglobe is small. It is a little over 2 inches high. And the crabby figurine is about 6 inches tall. I'm asking $20 and 5 dollars shipping. Sound fair to me. Let me know how I can pay. Thanks.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. Some good ideas. I've started out by adding a BIG link to all the heavily visited LittleAriel.com pages. Let's see if that brings in some guests/members: You can see it here: www.littleariel.com/games.htm and www.littleariel.com/games2.htm and www.littleariel.com/coloring.htm and www.littleariel.com/links.htm I've also switched the LAF skin to the original default which I created WAY back when. I'll be tweaking it as the days go by to try and get a more modern feel if possible. If you just swam by and are reading this, but haven't joined us yet, please feel free to come aboard A lot of work has gone into this forum, and I'd hate to see it fade off into the sunset, so I'll be here to continue what I started and let's build a big Ariel community together :'( ...and, have a GREAT Ariel Easter!!

Thanks Alan. You could be right. I will be advertising this forum on my LittleAriel site where I know it will get some hits, maybe regenerate interest here. We'll see. As for this looking like 2006, yeah, probably it does, but I suppose that's better than looking like the 80's LOL Okay, so I'll see what I can do about the look this weekend.

Hello to all you faithful followers of all things Little Ariel!! I've been gone for quite a while and so I'm a bit behind in goings on here. Seems we've lost our main Moderator Jazzy. Although she has stopped by here as recently as Mar 13th, she hasn't posted anything in over two years. Thing is, as we get older, sometimes we just don't have as much spare time anymore to keep up with the things we love. I'll be checking in here often, going forward, and so please feel free to contact me anytime about anything. If by chance you are interested in helping to maintain and oversee this wonderful board, please PM me and let me know. Have a GREAT Ariel year!! :'( Mike

Guys?

Well here's something cool, the site owner LittleAriel is a guy too! That's true My son was born one month before TLM first came out in 1989 and I can still remember him crying through a lot of the film and my wife had to take him with his basinette to the back of the theater. So for me, there is a connection there. Also, my sister is a true red-head. About 5 years later I started collecting TLM stuff, then when the internet started taking over, I learned HTML and created a few pages. Then I created LittleAriel.com in 2000 and put her online in 2001. Soon after, I saw the need to create a forum and so LittleAriel Forum was born. After a while I couldn't keep up with it so I turned it over to Jazzy who has been instrumental in keeping this great little forum alive. HUGS go to Jazzy!! Both sites have been labors of love, but unfortunately, I just don't have the time anymore to maintain my LA site as much as I'd like to. Despite all that, LittleAriel.com is one of the most popular and visited Disney related sites on the web today. It's actually in the top 100,000 internet sites. My son, interestingly enough became a swimmer and competed very well through high school and is now about to graduate College. As for my TLM collection, well, it's now taking over my house. Believe it or not, most guys secretly LOVE Ariel, just most would never admit it. There's a stigma there. Guys mostly would feel that they are weak it they would admit to liking TLM. As for me, I don't really mind because I'm secure in my own skin. Anyway, Ariel is part of my life and I wouldn't want it any other way :'(

Should be a fun movie! I grabbed a screenshot of the trailer for a desktop wallpaper and it came out so good I just have to share it. If you want a copy, it's here: wontgetlost.com/Tangled.bmpKeep it in bitmap form for best results. 2.5 meg file, worth the wait, just put it in your C:\windows directory. Enjoy!! Mike BTW, Hi everyone

just curious, when was this forum 'born'? Now that's a really good question I had to do a little research and it would seem I opened LAF October 2 2003 as evidenced by the entry I made here: www.LittleAriel.com/news15.htmIt's at the bottom of the page. And, what this means is that we're coming up on 5ive years!! Seems like an anniversary to me :'(

TLM4

GOTCHA So now, when TLM4 comes out, the only possible place to go would be to chronicle Ariel's continuing adventures from where TLM3 left off. Maybe that's why there are still some unanswered questions. Ursula, for instance. That might make a GREAT story in itself. But here's the problem... after TLM4, then what? Kind of like Star Wars, where we got episode 4,5 and 6 first, then 1,2 and 3. Hmmmm, well, we did get the Clone Wars after that, but does that one really count? I doubt that we'll see an Ariel clone Okay, so now we have to start thinking about the future of TLM after "4" . Someone please tell me it's not the end of the line....

No doubt about it, this had a good feeling to it, like somebody really cared. What a relief after TLM2. The only thing I noticed is that Ariel didn't have as many singing parts as I expected. Other than that, nicely done. Animation quality: excellent Ariel's expressions and features: excellent Story: excellent Overall feel: excellent Voices: excellent Five stars all the way. Have a GREAT Ariel Beginning Day!! Mike

Here's a question. What's the differenence between a moderator and a global moderator? Aren't they the same? A good question and sorry it took so long to get answered.. A global mod can manage ALL the boards, whereas a regular mod can only manage his/her assigned board. :'(

Another question. I see we are up to 538 members. How can I find out what my "member number" is? There is no actual member number assigned. As for becoming a mod, it would take a certain amount of commitment and yes, time Hope this helps. Have a GREAT Ariel day!! Mike
