These are all so amazing!! Especially for using MS Paint! I would post one, but it would probably scare people. I don't think I'd even be able to get it to look even close to Ariel. haha

I've never been a big fan of Cinderella, so this is hard. I guess I'll go with Cinderella herself though. I think second would be... hm... the Grand Duke. He's silly. You know what I think it is? Seeing the sequels have made me sort of not like Cinderella more than I did before. That's just me though.

I just watched the Hunchback the whole way through for the first time in a few years I think, and I forgot how powerful and moving it is. I mean, just the opening to the movie, that line Clopin sings, "Who is the monster and who is the man?" Really, really powerful.
I get what you're saying Random, I think for most little kids the whole message of the movie kind of gets lost. Since it is a big concept. Not just the whole accepting people with physical anomalies, but all the religion and other stuff going on. Hellfire was intense man! I forgot about that whole thing with Frollo and Esmeralda. Ick!
I think it is good for kids to at least be exposed to it though. I mean, I grew up with my brother who as I've said before is physically and mentally disabled, so seeing the movie I already understood that people who are "different" are people with feelings too. But a lot of kids grow up never being around people who have disabilities, so when they see someone they react... inappropriately. I've been around ADULTS who stare at my brother almost in disgust. It just really shows society has a lot of growing up to do.
Just a side thought going along with the Hunchback... I'm so disappointed they got rid of the show at Disney. :[ That was my favorite show, they did such an awesome job on it. Oh well. *shrugs*

Hm, I've never heard of that idea. Although, I never really got into TLMII, so I probably never would have heard of it to begin with.

Yeah I agree. If you watch the Hunchback for example, then watch the second, it's just... to me appalling. The characters were completely slaughtered! The worst to me was that one, but The Little Mermaid II wasn't that great either. :/ We all know and love Ariel as that bubbly, ambitious young mermaid! It seemed all of that energy was taken away in the second just to make her come across as more "mature".
So yeah, I believe if the original people had worked on the sequels, there's a possibility they could have been MUCH better. Because if you look at Toy Story II, the characters stayed the same, not to make that sound boring, because that's not what I mean. I mean they kept that same glow they had in the original. I looked it up and it says that John Lasseter directed both of them, so there you go. ;P
Anyway that's me ranting and rambling. I just get sort of worked up talking about the sequels, because the originals were so timeless and fresh! But now when I watch them, all I can really think about is what happens in the second... or in Cinderella's case the third. To me it sort of takes away from the magic the originals captured so well. But again, sometimes, if approached correctly, the outcome can be great! (Toy Story).

My favorite would have to be between Toy Story and Toy Story 2. I mean, Toy Story was the oringinal, it had such an awesome story and introduced us to Buzz and Woody. But then Toy Story 2 also brought in Jessie, Bullseye and a ton of other awesome characters. Plus I loved the story, the movie was just amazing. So.... I guess I'll have to go with Toy Story 2. :]

Hm, I was never that big of a fan of Snow White. I'm not sure why, but it's never been one of those Disney movies that sort of stuck with me and I fell in love with. :/
I have to admit though, I really like Snow White, the character. It's taken me a while to like her though, her voice used to get on my nerves because it was a bit high pitch. Plus she was that sort of "damsel in distress" kind of fairy tale girl. I tend to like the characters like Belle, Megara, and Esmeralda. But I still think Snow White was great. :]
Stuff I liked about the movie... hm, I liked most of the songs, I think the only ones I didn't like were the ones sung just by the dwarves alone (Heigh-Ho and Bluddle-Uddle-Um Dum). They seemed to go on a little too long to me. That's just me though, I'm really picky when it comes to the songs in movies. If they're not completely necessary they tend to bother me a little.
Anywoo, I of course enjoyed the whole story of Snow White being let go free by the man who was supposed to kill her then eventually being awaken by true love's kiss by Prince Charming. :] To this day I still love the animation used in this movie, it's just... amazing. I prefer it over all this new fancy stuff for sure.

I'm not sure where I heard it, but for as long as I can remember I thought his name was Adam. I think it may have been mentioned in one of the Beauty and the Beast movies, like the Enchanted Christmas or something.

Nightmare Before Christmas doesn't seem Disney, but it's definitely one of my favorites. Corpse Bride wasn't Disney though, it looks the same as Nightmare because Tim Burton worked on both of them. :]

Fantasia 2000 actually came out in 1999. It was an updated version of the original Fantasia released in 1940. I guess they called it Fantasia 2000 because it was sort of... not a welcoming or introduction... agh I can't think of the right word, but anyway, for now I'll just say welcoming to the new millenium.

This is such a difficiult decison! These are, I think, some of Disney's best films! For me, it'd be between - BATB, TLK, THOND, and Hercules. Although, I do love Pocahontas as well. Oh bother, this is an awfully hard choice to make...
The Hunchback really gets to me. Mostly because I can relate, having a brother who's disabled and has some physical anomalies like Quasi. Esmeralda, again, is another great Disney heroine. Independent, and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
But I think I'll have to go with Beauty and the Beast though. I mean, I am a compltely hopeless romantic, and this movie just really gets to me. I cry EVERY time Belle and the Beast are on the balcony at the end. :'[
Plus Belle is probably my all time favorite Disney princess or heroine or whatever you want to call her. She's definitely got a mind of her own, she's not that "AH! I'm stuck in a tower, I need a strong man to come save me" kind of gal.
She wants to get out and see things, discover stuff for herself. I think she's a fantasic role model for girls, I mean she is for me. And she also teaches that outer beauty can't compete with what's inside. Which is a great lesson.

As much as I adore Hercules, I have to go with the Hunchback. It's always been one of my all time favorite Disney movies. It's true that it's pretty dark, but I mean, there are dark themes in other Disney movies. I can't really think of any right now, but I was talking to a lady working at the Disney store a little while back, and she was talking about how older movies like Dumbo and Pinnachio were actually kind of dark.
Anyway, back on topic, I think the Hunchback sends a really good message to kids. People today are still cruel to people with any physical differences. I actually wrote a whole paper on this in English, because my brother is disabled, and I know going out with him people just stare like he's an alien. So, the movie shows that even people who are considered "different" have feelings too, they're normal people.

Hm I really love the Aristocats, I even named my cat after one of the kittens (Toulouse). But I think I'm going to have to go with Robin Hood. Which is weird, because for the longest time I thought I hated Robin Hood, but then I watched it maybe a year ago for the first time in a while, and I loved it! I don't think there's one character I dislike, and Prince John is probably if not my favorite, one of my favorite Disney villians. ;]

I don't like the Jungle Book either Random! I always felt like I was so alone in not liking that movie, because my whole family loves it! Anywoo, I think my favorite would have to be... Sword in the Stone. I don't know what exactly it is about that movie, but I just love it! Maybe it's Archimedes the owl. He always cracks me up. : D

Hm, I think I might actually be a little excited to see this. When I saw just the trailer and only heard a little about it, I was really dissapointed. But after watched the sneak preview, it actually looks pretty interesting! Although, that's what I said about Cinderella III, and well... that didn't turn out so well. :/ But this looks much more promising, so I can't wait to get the DVD! :]

Yeah, I really miss all of the classic Disney movies. They were so creative and original! And now, most of the time, they're just making sequels to their original work. I just wish they'd try to step out of the box and try something new.
